Slow Children at Play was my first real comic. It ran in the University of Texas’ Daily Texan newspaper from 2001 – 2004 until I graduated. It was loosely about a group of roommates who were probably students (mostly). It had a good run, a lot of funny stuff, but it’s been retired since then.
I’m not so proud of the first part of the comics though, I was still getting my bearings. Allow me to suggest you start reading here, then go back and read the early stuff if you really like it.

Coming One Day... Probably

God Goes to School is my new project. Only I don’t have any comics for it yet. I’m currently traveling Australia and don’t have any way to scan my new comics or get them uploaded. Hell, I’m lucky I even got the site put together. Anyway, check in on this one soon. I’m really excited about it. I think the name sort of gives you an idea of what’s to come.

What is a 24 Hour comic? The idea is to take one 24 hour period and completely create a 24-page comic from scratch. That’s writing, penciling, inking, and whatever else. I’ve done two of these and never gotten close to completing 24 pages. We’ll see what happens next year.

SOD was a side project I did every once in a while during college. Sometimes I wanted to do a classic single panel comic. Sometimes I wanted to do a short comic. Sometimes I just wanted to fill up the comics page during my time as editor. Sometimes it was actually funny.

And here you can find the rest of my comics. Other side projects, guest strips, other people guesting on my strip, tribute comics, comics deemed “too hot” for the Daily Texan, and Lawless Comix. All kinds of wacky stuff.
